Fleurish is a floral design studio that specializes in weddings and custom floral design. Each wedding is treated individually, paying attention to even the smallest of details.

Fleurish designer Christy Heckathorn began Fleurish seven years ago because of her passion for flowers and love for making any event memorable. With twelve years experience in floral design, Christy loves to create unique, contemporary pieces that reflect the desires and wishes of the client. Her past design experience includes Monta's in Yankton, Edgar's/Pioneer Drug in Elk Point, and Mosher's in Sioux City.

Flowers are her passion because of their ability to awaken the senses unlike any other medium. She thoroughly enjoys the process of sitting down with each client and getting to know their sense of style, hearing their ideas and then translating those ideas into their dream! Beautiful and unique color palettes, unusual flowers and incorporating unexpected elements such as fruit, grasses and branches are some of the key elements found in her work.

In addition to creating beautiful fresh bouquets and arrangements, Christy also enjoys making permanent botanical arrangements for the home or office.
